Would you like to fish with some of the stars of fly fishing?

Well Anglian Water has announced that it will be hosting a Pairs Fly Fishing Competition and charity auction at Rutland Water, one of Europe’s top trout fisheries. It will be held on Saturday, August 14th, 2010 with all proceeds going to the charity Help for Heroes. The competition will be a boat pairs (fish with own partner) match fished to reservoir rules, excluding ‘ruddering’, with a 16-fish limit per pair.

Anglers attending include: World Fly Fishing Champion Iain Barr; author, artist and casting guru Charles Jardine; most-capped England international John Horsey; England Loch-Style team manager Craig Barr; Welsh international Gareth Jones; England Ladies international Martha Thomson; Total Flyfisher magazine editor Steve Cullen; TV angling personality John Wilson; and England international Simon Kidd.
