Casting For Recovery - 05/07/2010

Halstead and Bolton are holding a ladies fly fishing day at Bolton Abbey on Wednesday, August 11th, 2010 to raise money for breast cancer charity Casting For Recovery UK & Ireland.

Ladies can enjoy a ‘ladies-only’ day fishing the waters of the Bolton Abbey Estate, surrounded by some of the most spectacular scenery in the Yorkshire Dales. Against this beautiful backdrop the four-mile stretch of water offers extensive opportunities for both the novice and experienced female angler. This event is open to all ladies who are interested in trying fly fishing for the first time or looking to further improve their techniques.

Jim Curry, the owner and cofounder of Halstead and Bolton, and his team of qualified instructors will be available on the day for one-to-one tuition. The event includes fishing, tuition, all equipment if required and lunch at the luxurious Devonshire Arms. Every lady attending will also receive a gift from John Norris of Penrith.
