First For Kayak - 10/06/2008

Well it had to happen sooner or later due to the sport’s growing popularity – a fishing competition involving kayaks!

We now have the first-ever British Open Kayak Fishing Championship.
The event, organised by White Water Consultancy, will be held over two days, June 21st and 22nd, at South Beach, Tenby, South Pembrokeshire. There will be a team event, for four people, as well as individual competitions, but please go to the website for a list of the rules.

The event will raise money for the RNLI Angle Lifeboat Fund, with all proceeds, excluding cash for prizes, going to the fund. Entry costs £10 per person.
