ClickandFish Challenge. See if you are triumphant...
ClickandFish Challenge

We're rewarding you for your special catches. Meet the targets, win the prizes and find fame in the pages of Total FlyFisher!

Catching a monster trout, salmon or grayling can often be the pinnacle of a fisherman’s angling career. Here at Total FlyFisher we want your fish pics to be up in our Hall Of Fame for all to see. That’s why we’ve teamed up with ClickandFish with this simple idea – catch a fish of a lifetime and get yourself into our magazine, winning yourself a quality badge to remember your catch by. We have all-new badges for you this month, so why not go out and try for the whole bunch of them?

We look forward to receiving your entries and, remember, you don’t have to catch the biggest fish to have a chance of winning. It could be your first fish, a great-looking fish or an unusual specimen.

Dave Taylor
River Brown & Grayling

What a wonderful-looking trout this brownie is. The colours are very vivid, especially its buttery-yellow flanks. The 3lb 1oz fish was taken on a small Black Klinkhamer after it was seen rising several times in some slack water. Fish of this size are a regular feature of the River Test but the colours on this particular specimen make it stand out.

Chris Dickey
Big Water Rainbow

This well-mended rainbow from Eskragh Lough looks very fit indeed and was caught on one of Chris’s own flies – a Black Pseudo Hackle Diawl Bach. A 6lb rainbow from a large water is something to be especially proud of.

Paul Davis
Small Water Rainbow

Paul was fishing at Lakedown Trout Fishery in East Sussex when this 9lb rainbow trout took his slowly fished offering. The four spring-fed lakes produce some wonderful fish and this is no exception – it’s a real stunner.

David Smith
David was fishing the River Wye when this brown trout grabbed his Goldhead Red Spot Caddis. At 1lb 8oz it’s a very impressive river trout; not massive, but certainly one we’d all love to catch. At times, brownies like a deeply fished nymph just as much as grayling do.

Richard Winsor
It’s always nice to see overwintered brown trout coming out of the larger reservoirs. Richard’s 5lb 8oz brownie took his static black Buzzer from Grafham. The water has been on fire of late and this cracker certainly proves it. Not many places in the country can match the buzzer hatch here.

Dan Sefton
Here’s another big-water brownie, but this 6lb 13oz fish was caught from Waskerley Reservoir, up in County Durham. Dan managed to tempt the trout with one of his home-tied Bibio Bumbles fished on the top dropper.

Steve Bloy
Nearly there Steve, almost a double. Still, at 9lb 8oz it’s one hell of a fish! It’s no wonder Avon Springs is such a popular small-water venue when you can catch fish like this. It was fooled into taking Steve’s green and black Damsel fished slowly on an intermediate line.
