Video Description:

Follow the step-by-step guide with TFF Editor Steve Cullen and tie the Suspender Buzzer.

Since the introduction of foam into fly tying, many tiers have been quick to take advantage of this material – case in point, the Suspender Buzzer. The Ethafoam that’s used in this buoyant little pattern is extremely versatile and also very tough – very handy when you are catching fish after fish. As you would imagine, this fly will fish best near the surface and it’s the ideal candidate when trout are feeding on emerging midge and, quite often, when they’re feeding on the surface in general.
