FISHERY REPORT
Summary Of Fishing: The weather during the week was, as forecast, something of a mixed bag and is reflected in the catch rate for the week. Nevertheless, 78 rods caught 214 fish, with Mr D little taking the largest, a beauty of 6lb 1oz to a Booby, equalling the season record so far. Other good fish were taken by Mr P Holloway (3lb 12oz) and Mr M Gray (3lb 9oz).
Notable bags were landed by Mr P Willis (15lb 6oz), Mr T Child (14lb 8oz), Mr R Fisher (14lb 4oz) and Mr M Nock (14lb 4oz). A wide range of flies are proving effective, including buzzer, GRHE, PTN, Daddy, Bibio, Diawl Bach and Silver Invicta, with Damsel, Cats Whisker and Booby still catching at lower levels.
Additional News: Water temperature remains at 11°C but the recent strong winds have left the water a little discoloured. Weather forecast for the week ahead is for a continuing mix od sunshine and showers with a maximum temperature of 13°C. Winds are predicted to veer from North West at the start of the week to Easterly by the weekend, gusting up to 30mph, particularly on Friday.
