A record blue trout has been caught from Lancashire’s Stocks Reservoir.
The fish was banked by female angler Tracy Watson at a weight of 12lb 9oz.
Caught during a morning session on the 350acre venue located near Clitheroe, the big specimen fell for a Green Pea Gold head fished in the shallow margins of the water’s Willows area on the east bank.
The big blue beats the previous best for the venue by 3oz, a record held by angler Roger Danbridge for the past 5years.
