Grafham Report Oct 31

Good average weights coming out with shrimp patterns proving very successful.

Fish week 653 (season 23,511) Returns 181 (6,059) Rod average 3.6 (3.88)

Grafham Water continues to fish well for both boat and bank anglers with over a third of the fish caught weighing over 3lb.  Bank anglers have had plenty of success by fishing floating lines with shrimp patterns, crunchers, GRHE, diawl bachs and minkies.  The most productive areas for the bank anglers have been the Dam (south and bowl), Gaynes Cove, Perry Point, G Buoy, Hill Farm, Pylon Point and Deep Water Point.

Boat anglers have also had a good week’s fishing with the main method being floating lines with minkies, vivas, crunchers, shrimp patterns, claret hoppers and cats whiskers.  The best boat areas this week have been G Buoy, Dam, Gaynes Cove, Rectory Bay and Hill Farm.
