Toft Newton Report Oct 28

Mild weather sees dries still on the menu at fishery, with some big fish showing.

107 rods caught 473 fish rod av. 4.4

Decent week once again with mixed weather but consistent sport. Lots of buzzers still around and dry fly action has still been very good - a bonus at this point in the season. Small Shipmans, fiery brown buzzers and diawl bach patterns all very good. The area around the black pipe corner is still producing the best sport with fry feeders showing all around. Some decent perch out this week and although they may be not exactly what you're after, they are lovely fish to catch.

Several fish out 6Ib+ again, including legend Ernie Clark from Laneham with a 7Ib 8oz fish, Ian Foulstone with his personal best at 8Ib 8oz and the best caught and released by Rod Newborough from Scothern at 10Ib 4oz taken on a small dry Shipman's from a boat.
