Venue fishing report for the week ending November 6.
Fish week 141 (12,703 season) Returns 52 (2,737) Rod average 2.71 (4.64)
Anglers have enjoyed plenty of action this week with fish now feeding hard on fry. Boat anglers have been taking some superbly conditioned Rainbows whilst fishing lures at all depths.
With the unseasonal high water temperatures continuing fish are moving in the shallows and around the old weedbeds. Good advice is to fish a minky or zonker pattern in green and white for best results. Mick Griffin and Graham Smith took 11 fish on Saturday morning fishing floating lines and white booby minkies. Graham caught 3 fish on hoppers.
The dam has again produced fish to cats whisker, black and green and damsels. Carl Long waded to the Island to take two nice fish on green diawl bachs.
Ravensthorpe Fur and Feather
