Venue fishing report for the week ending November 13.
Fish week 212 (season 23,723) Returns 71 (6,130) Rod average 2.98 (3.88)
Grafham Water is fishing well for both bank and boat anglers with 40% of the trout caught weighing over 3lb. Bank anglers have again had the best of the sport mainly on shrimp patterns, minkies and small nymphs. The most productive areas for the bank anglers have been Perry Point, the Seat, Gaynes Cove/Plummer car park, Dam, G bank, Deep Water and Pylon Points and Hill Farm.
Boat anglers have also had some good fishing this week by fishing floating lines with minkies, GRHE, claret hoppers, cats whiskers and diawl bachs. The best areas for the boat anglers have been sludge Bank, Gaynes Cove, Bowl of Dam, G Buoy and Pylon Point.
Four fish (half day permits) are valid all day from 1 November until 31 December £15 (Rainbows only).
Boat prices reduced in November – fish all day from 9am for £17.
The final day for boat fishing will be Sunday 27 November.
