A Big Thank You

Rutland Water raises £2,700 for charity
Rutland Water has today extended a big thank you to anglers who have donated their catches to be sold locally throughout the year to raise money for a ‘good cause’.
This year Rutland raised £2.7k and neighbouring Grafham £1.3k, and the money has been used to purchase two defibrillators for use at Rutland Water and one at Grafham Water.

The purchase means that at Rutland Water, they now have one in the fishing lodge, watersports centre and bird watching centre, and at Grafham they have one at the fishing lodge and sailing club.

The fishery would like to extend its thanks to the wardens – the sale of the fish would not have been possible without their hard work in preparing the fish for sale locally.
