The Eyebrook Country Summer Fayre is being held on Saturday, August 30th. It’s a great day put for all the family – admission is free, with some top attractions fly casting demonstrations – trout and salmon skills, including Spey Casting with Chris Woodward, plus fly-tying demonstrations of trout and pike flies from various guest fly-tyers.
For the rest of the family; there will be a display of falconry, a live Folk Band, the Eyebrook Wildlife Group, Fish Replicas - an exhibition of work by local wildlife photographer John Turner, kids face painting, a vintage standing engine, fish smoking demonstrations and boat handling demonstrations.
There will also be various arts and crafts stands; including turned wooden crafts, textiles, confectionary, jewellery, antiques, local artist Harry Spencer, paintings and stickmaker and Eyebrook Wild Bird Feeds.
Refreshments will be served throughout the day, with teas, cakes and hot food for sale. There is also a tombola and a raffle, with all monies and donations raised from the event going to The English Disabled Fly Fishers Association Charity.
